Hydrocyclones
The Fabtec Environmental Hydrocyclone System is
designed to uniformly distribute the feed and
collect the overflow and underflow products from
the cyclones as required for the application.
The system includes a single vessel that has one
feed inlet, overflow and underflow outlet. The
cyclones are closely packed inside the vessel
with removable stainless steel plates separating
the overflow and underflow from the feed chamber.
Cyclones range in size from ½" to
2" in diameter.
Standard materials of construction for the vessels
are 316 stainless steel. The vessel's can also
be designed to withstand high temperatures and
pressures, and are manufactured in accordance
with ASME, PED, DNV 2.7-1 and BS EN 12079 requirements.
Typical applications include:
- Pit cleaning solids removal during re-circulation
process.
- Pre-treatment of solids laden waste water and
brines prior to filtration.
- Base oil reclamation.
- Waste minimization (onshore or offshore)
